About the Scotties Color

As you probably know, Scotties come in several colors. The original Scottie was brindle colored; it's not stated what color of brindle they were. There can be silver and / or golden brindle intermixed with the black. The colors can be gorgeous.

The wheaten color can be light or darker and even sandy colored (although never white). Black is the most recognized and associated color with the Scottie; however, a completely black Scottie is somewhat rare. A little white on the chin (milk chin) or a patch on the chest is perfectly acceptable.

As we go through the tour, we will point out some of the colorations found with our Scotties.
